Our Worship

We are commanded to worship the triune God. Jesus spoke of the time when ‘true worshipper shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship him’. (John 4.23). The special day appointed for worship is the Sabbath or Lord’s Day.

In our worship we praise God in the words of the Scottish metrical Psalms, read His Word and call on His Name in prayer. At the centre of the worship service is the preaching of the Word of God. We use the Authorised Version of the Bible because of its accuracy, majestic style and memorability.
